Multi-Inbox Checker Pro ("we", "our", or "the extension") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how user information is handled.
1. 100% Client-Side Architecture
Multi-Inbox Checker Pro runs strictly inside your local Google Chrome browser:
- No Remote Databases: We do not operate or maintain any servers that store, process, or monitor your emails or passwords.
- Direct API Communication: Network requests for email data travel directly between your device and Google's official API (
gmail.googleapis.com) or Microsoft's official Graph API (graph.microsoft.com).
2. Data Collection & Usage
- Email Addresses & Display Names: Stored locally in
chrome.storage.localsolely to label your connected inboxes. - OAuth Access Tokens: Retained locally on your device in
chrome.storage.localto authenticate API requests. - Email Content & Snippets: Fetched on-demand and cached in your browser. You can clear this cache at any time via Settings → "Clear Local Cache".
- Preferences: UI settings (theme, density, sounds, interval) are saved to
chrome.storage.sync.
3. Google API Limited Use Disclosure
Multi-Inbox Checker Pro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties.
- We do not use Google user data for serving personalized advertising or AI model training.
- No human ever reads your emails or messages.
4. On-Device AI Processing
All AI email thread summaries are computed locally on your device via Chrome's built-in Prompt API (Gemini Nano). No email content is transmitted to external cloud AI servers.
5. Data Deletion & Revocation
You can disconnect any account at any time from the side panel or Settings page. Disconnecting an account immediately wipes all associated tokens and cached emails from your machine.
